Lonely bears

Lonely bears, they stand there in their red dungarees and speculate about what life might be like without loneliness and red dungarees. Indeed, if they abandon one will it lead to the other? The plump bear on the right is rightly concerned whereas as the skinny bear on the left is simply using his education to give an air of sophistication. It’s no surprise that he fails, but the thrill is in watching him try.

That’s not it. Maybe he serenades, maybe he solves a mystery and explains it brilliantly, in the form of a haiku. Unfortunately, you will never know, no matter how many sparrows leave their wet footprints on your decaying veranda long after you’ve gone.
